Overview i3 is seeking a highly driven and capable professional to serve as a Portfolio Business and Operations Manager. This position requires an induvial who can effectively communicate across all components of the organization at all levels. The selectee must be able to coordinate and communicate effectively with external stakeholders, to include customers and industry partners. The individual selected, will be expected to rapidly comprehend industry concepts and internal organizational processes pertaining to portfolio financials, program/project planning and execution, recruiting, personnel, business development, supply chain, contract execution, contractual compliance, and various other aspects is essential. Additionally, this role requires individual that is trusted to represent Business Unit and Portfolio leadership in both customer and internal i3 leadership engagements. Initiative and influential leadership are paramount and essential characteristics for persons operating in this role. The selected candidate must also possess the capacity to identify process gaps, problems, and potential issues pertaining to business execution, and be capable of leading the resolution efforts by organizing, coordinating, guiding, supporting, and energizing the team of individuals with the necessary skill sets. Responsibilities
Develops, manages, and leads a team by providing advice, guidance, learning opportunities, feedback, and training
Collaborate with specialists and analysts to facilitate the execution of processes between the Contracts, Program Finance, Human Resources, Recruiting, Information Technology, and Security business units and departments
Support continuity of operations in coordination with Program Managers, Operations Leads, and corporate departments including ensuring conformance with program task schedules and costs
Assist with oversight and the business and operational activity of a Portfolio and 2 Business Units to achieve operational and strategic objectives
Coordinate, organize, track, and execute multiple tasks for team events, training, professional development, program reviews, finance reviews, new hire on-boarding and new team member check-ins, and meetings.
Support Portfolio and Business Unit leadership with customer relationships by meeting program requirements and customer expectations
Review, Track, Assist with financial and personnel analysis
Support remote personnel at multiple locations including fielding questions or requests and coordinating with appropriate on-site staff to resolve such matters.
Provide administrative support to the Portfolio Steward and Business Unit and Operations Leads, to include updating schedules and trackers, developing, and updating presentation slides, developing agendas and schedules, coordinating refreshments for various functions, and scheduling conference rooms.
Provide advice and recommendations to the Business Unit Leads
Provide Guidance and Recommendations and support to Program Managers and Org Leads
Monitor and maintain situational awareness of Portfolio Financial, Contract, Programs, and Personnel Metrics
Manage and drive the execution of Business Unit Playbook activity
Coordinate with representative of each functional support component of the organization
Lead the planning and coordination all Portfolio battle rhythm events to include All Hands, team member outreach, leadership off-sites, monthly, quarterly reviews, routine synchronization meetings with various stakeholders, and other activity as directed
Execute other activity based on the guidance and direction of Portfolio, Business Unit, and Director of Operations
Other tasks and duties as assigned by the Director of Operations, Portfolio Steward, and Business Unit Lead
Qualifications Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree in business, Management, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Operations. Additional experience and/or lower degrees may substitute for degree requirement
Minimum 8-15 years of relevant experience required
Highly adept in both written and verbal communication skills
Experience leading and working with highly functional teams
Experience conceptualizing, developing, and implementing solutions
At least 5 to 10 years of DOD Experience (Military or Industry)
3 to 5 years of Business Operational Management Experience
Experience developing and/or assisting with the development of organizational policies, processes, and/or procedures
Experience coordinating activities across multiple departments of an organization and/or other organizations to deliver a solution
Experience managing budgets and resources
Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
U.S. Citizenship is required

Regular i3 hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, however, additional hours may be required on occasion. Regular and punctual attendance is required.
