Position Responsibilities & Essential functions
Oversee and lead all direct Supply Chain Operational Activities performed by Managed Service Provider, including management of 3PL warehouse operations, associates and CDK clients.
Direct the activities of all functions involved in the receiving, storage, and shipping operation ensuring delivery of the finished products into finished goods inventory and delivery of products to customer(s)
Manages all transportation and warehouse invoices ensuring payments are met within net terms
Develops strategies, policies, procedures, and overall team to optimize value of the entire function in creating a world class logistics operations team
Maintains compliance with all regulatory requirements and ethical standards related to procurement.
Manage the vendor relationships and ensure that CDK Global and said suppliers work together in partnership to address all strategic and operational goals and challenges
Establishes and cultivates strong partnerships with internal departments such as IT, Finance and Accounts Payable in order to drive efficiencies and successful business partnerships.
Leads contract negotiations with logistics vendors with assistance from sourcing and legal
Manages GL transactional exceptions, ensuring all shipments are coded with the correct GL
Partner with internal stakeholders on outbound orders, resolve issues, and implement preventative actions
Supervises a team of resources that provides analytical and operational support for all logistics requests. Provides end-user training, creates and maintains support documentation, and troubleshoots all system issues.
Provide support to MANAGED SERVICE PROVIDER on direct supply chain invoicing and payment issues
Provide tracking and shipping status for internal stakeholders on direct shipments
Hold meetings with direct vendor contacts to work out operational issues and receive status of available inventory
Work with leadership on strategy to improve operations, costs, and revenue
Lead projects on cost savings initiatives and communicate to senior leadership
Oversee and ensure pathfinder tickets are being closed/solved within SLA for all of direct procurement
Partner with MANAGED SERVICE PROVIDER on the S&OP process, communicating issues and updates to all cross functional stakeholders
Qualifications
Minimum:
Bachelor's Degree in similar field (Preferred)
Minimum of 8 years of experience with a 3 years' experience in a managerial role
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Direct exposure/experience with industry leading applications
Experience with ERP systems
Advanced knowledge of MS Office products
Must be an operational thinker with confidence and speed in execution
Proven leadership skills in building and managing large teams with a history of world class success
Excellent analytical and negotiation skills are required
Ability to make sound decisions in a dynamic environment
Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree in similar field
Minimum of 8 years of experience with a 2 years' experience in a managerial role
Direct exposure/experience with industry leading applications
Must be an operational thinker with confidence and speed in execution.
Proven leadership skills in building and managing large teams with a history of world class success.
Excellent analytical and negotiation skills are required
Ability to influence and communicate at all levels of the organization
Experience with team supervision, including performance management and career development
Education/Experience

Bachelor's Degree in similar field
Preferred:
CSMP, CPM, PMP
Compensation: $115,000 - $135,000

Compensation packages are based on several factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, certifications, and work location.
