Job Summary
Oldcastle Infrastructure (OI), as part of CRH's Infrastructure Products Group (IPG), is a global manufacturing leader of utility infrastructure products. Our goal is to be the most efficient producer of engineered systems and our customers' strategic partner of choice. A crucial part of OI's journey is the investment in a new CRM / ERP system and other digital enterprise applications. With a modern, common platform, OI will unlock the benefits of its scale, deliver a better customer experience, and build a foundation for continuous process improvement.
The new CRM / ERP system implementation will require significant change for the organization. Design Leads will understand the changes, business impacts, becoming experts in the new system, process, and roles. As part of the project team, Design Leads will ensure new end users are set up for long-term success by driving system testing, supporting readiness assessments and building end user training.
Job Responsibilities
Assist the ERP team in gathering business requirements and current state challenges
Develop thorough understanding of future state system design, understanding business implications and interdependencies
Document process design
Participate in workshops and provide input based on expertise and experience
Complete system validation testing
Thoroughly test system setup/configuration
Support the development of testing scripts based on business process
Support the development of training materials
Become an expert in end-to-end system design and processes
Be a visible advocate for organizational change & sustainability
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or other related field
3+ years of experience in manufacturing or other relevant business preferred
Strong written and oral communication skills
Humility to learn a new business, while applying relevant experience
Ability to work independently and on cross-functional teams while accepting ownership
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Hands-on experience with Salesforce, SAP or part of another ERP implementation team
Process improvement knowledge gained while working in an organization undergoing a significant operational culture shift
Travel: 50%
