Zurich (Schaumburg, IL) seeks a Performance Testing Lead to be part of the Guidewire Policy Center program as a member within the Information Technology Services team. Specific duties include: leading a non-functional testing team whose key goal is to improve the performance, capacity, and resilience of the Guidewire PolicyCenter/ Underwriting Management Applications; support the definition and maintenance of a set of robust non-functional requirements grounded in real-world user metrics and experience; plan test strategies and monitoring performance tests; assist at designing, executing, and managing a repeatable set of non-functional tests; adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change; provide day to day direction to the testing teams which includes onsite and offshore contract resources; identify key risk items and dependencies and communicate effectively with cross functional teams and management; participate in daily stand-up/Scrum calls and project status meetings to provide testing status and testing metrics. Position requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field of study, plus 7 years of experience in the job offered, or as a Consultant, Test Engineering Specialist, Project Engineer, or similar position improving the performance, capacity, and resilience of applications. Must have 5 years of experience with each of the following: using Performance Center, LoadRunner, JMeter, Jenkins, and SOASTA; and developing scripts using C#, Selenium and API automation scripts using Postman API and Java Script/Newman command line collection runner. Must also have 3 years of experience building queries to perform back-end validations on SQL Server and MySQL. Additionally, must have 2 years of experience with each of the following: using monitoring tools Site Scope, Wily Introscope, appDynamics, DynaTrace, and Splunk; performing JVM/heap configuration tuning; and working with Auto, General Liability, Property & Causality Insurances Performance Testing with Guidewire Policy Center. Specific experience must also include: performance test planning, test environment setup, data preparation, scripts development, test execution, and application monitoring; and resolving complex design problems and identifying root causes of performance issues and providing corrective actions. The proposed salary range for this position is $92,100.00 - $150,900.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 15%.
