The Payroll Accountant will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for an organization.
This position requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Prepare and process payroll accurately and timely through third party payroll provider
• Maintain payroll records and prepare payroll reports
• Reconcile labor/ payroll accounts
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies
• Process timesheets and timesheet corrections with Deltek Time & Expense
• Create Deltek user accounts with Costpoint and ADManager
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Compensation Minimum: 50,000.00
Compensation Maximum: 65,000.00
Job Requirements:
Requirements and Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or relevant field preferred
• Previous experience with payroll processing
• Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Experience with Deltek Time and Expense and third party payroll Software preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
