The Bid Manager will be responsible for developing the sales proposals our liquid cooling equipment and services. This role requires close interaction with customers, sales teams, engineering, and service providers to ensure successful project delivery.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the bid management process for high density liquid cooling solutions.
Evaluate project opportunities to identify service options.
Identify and manage risks to both Vertiv and the client.
Review and understand Master Service Agreements.
Negotiate terms and conditions with customers and suppliers to secure favorable outcomes.
Prepare proposal documents to present/submit to client.
Monitor and report on bid progress and outcomes, ensuring timely delivery of proposals.
Coordinate the transition from sales to execution team.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in bid management, sales, or a related role within the cooling solutions or HVAC industry required.
Proven ability to manage complex bids and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface effectively with customers, sales, and engineering teams required.
Strong understanding of liquid cooling technologies and their applications preferred.
Exceptional organizational and project management skills required.
