Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Sr. Project Manager to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and monitoring a Genetic Testing Program pilot, a non-IT Project Management role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary liaison across all stakeholders of the project, including our client, Optum, and provider contacts.
- Manage the project plan, ensuring all stakeholders meet their obligations and timelines.
- Collaborate with Operations and Data & Analytics teams to design and document the processes of the pilot program.
- Adjust pilot requirements and deploy updates as needed following go-live.
- Manage reporting requirements for monitoring the program.
- Deliver formal reporting and status updates to project stakeholders on an ongoing basis in both written and verbal forms.
- Support team members leading existing Advocacy capabilities by conducting SME interviews and analyzing processes to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
- Document process updates and contribute to updated reporting and automation requirements.
- Provide project management support and contribute to ad hoc projects in support of additional Advocacy team strategic initiatives as capacity allows.
Ideal Candidate Background:
- Experienced project manager with previous experience in healthcare.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and organize quantitative data.
- Proven ability to identify challenges and problem-solve with key stakeholders to reach solutions that meet the unique needs of families.
- Self-directed with proven organizational skills and ability to be flexible and work within a place of ambiguity.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 5+ years of combined experience of project, program measurement, or product management within a matrix organization.
- 5+ years of combined experience working in healthcare, health delivery systems, with or for health plans.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word applications.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in serving populations with special health care needs.
- Experience working with health care provider organizations.
- Familiarity with topics in genetic medicine.
- Project management certification.
