What you'll do:
CRM Data Automation is a department whose core accountability is to support the Corporate Risk Management (CRM) organization in the efficient use of data in reporting, analytics, and modeling.
In support of this, our role provides administration and oversight of data warehouse resources for the organization and provides data engineering resources as developers of data engineering processes and as technical lead for other teams who practice data engineering.
We are looking for a Data Engineer to fill a role as an individual contributor.
The role will be responsible for some of the key activities that are critical to the development, maintenance, and documentation of an integrated data infrastructure for Corporate Risk Management.
Activities will include development and documentation of ETL/ELT processes.
The ability to learn and understand complex business processes as part of the requirement gathering process is also required.
This role reports to the Director of Software Development and Engineering on the CRM Data Automation Team.
ETL work Need someone that has done Code first process, code-based approach not tooling first - writing code to move and transform data, not just using ETL tools No informatica scheduling Primarily C# and Python (Experience in either is good) - manager is legacy .net guy, strong .Net candidate would be preferred. Have in house orchestration system for automation Range of systems they'll be sourcing from, sourcing from APIs and other databases Sourcing experience helping Google Cloud platform and storage - data warehouse implementation is GCP Big Query experience Strong communication skills Client communication/ leadership communication Need understanding on relational database concepts Experience writing stored procedure a plus
