We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Cardiac Care Nurse/Clinical Admin Nurse Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse (RN) with expertise in cardiac care, responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients with cardiac conditions and managing administrative tasks to support clinical operations.
Job Title: Clinical Admin Nurse Consultant (RN)
Location: Seattle, Washington 98104
Type: Contract
Regular Schedule: Tuesday to Friday, 10 hours per day
Training Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day.
Rate: Starting at $40.00/hour
Key Responsibilities:
Efficiently triage incoming calls and manage the EPIC inbasket.
Prioritize patient needs and coordinate with healthcare providers.
Conduct pre-operative assessments, including virtual consultations.
Ensure patients are prepared for surgery, providing necessary instructions and support.
Monitor and support patients post-surgery.
Address any complications or concerns during recovery.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in EPIC.
Ensure all documentation complies with healthcare regulations and standards.
Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
Communicate effectively with patients and their families.
Proficiency in EPIC and Outlook.
Required Qualifications:
Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in Washington
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Cardiac Nursing (e.g., CCRN, CSC)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Previous experience in a clinical administrative role
Experience with pre-operative and post-operative care for cardiac patients
