Job Description
Regularly testing Raw Materials using wet chemistry techniques
Ensure continuous laboratory compliance with all cGMP requirements
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a client-facing environment.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and a positive attitude
Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
Perform visual testing on all components of drug product container, closure, and medical device components
May also conduct testing that supports the release of container, closure, and medical device components utilizing several manual and instrumental techniques and documenting associated test results
Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment
Participate in required training activities
Gathers data and documents test results.
Complies with all pertinent regulatory agency requirements.
Completes laboratory documentation and reviews logbook data.
Calibrates or verifies calibration of instruments/devices prior to use.
Interacts with outside customers or functional peer groups.
Continuously drive to improve processes for improved performance using Lean & 5s
Qualifications
BS/BA in Life Sciences, or a related field
Strong attention to detail
Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Effective time management skills.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Experience with GMPpreferred
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Level will be determined based on relevant education and/or experience

Position is full-time, 1st shift 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday-Friday. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer, NY and the surrounding areas are encouraged to apply.
