Purpose of Job:Implement, manage, and maintain all EHS programs and projects for a PBV production site.
Job Duties:
Develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive EHS Programs on the site level and report on metrics.
Lead and Manage EHS-Related Projects.
Develop, implement, and evaluate innovative methods to increase operational efficiency.
Chair site EHS Committees.
Develop budgets and analyze the costs and benefits of old and new initiatives.
Mentor and develop the knowledge base of other site staff.
Coach and mentor site supervisors in EHS responsibilities.
Collaborate effectively with site leaders to continuously improve safety.
Manage incident reporting and resolution.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or graduate degree in IH/OH, public health, safety, environmental sciences, biology, chemistry, physics, or engineering, or any other bachelor’s degree program that contains at least 60 semester hours of creditable subjects with at least 15 of those hours at the upper level (junior, senior, or graduate level) and at least four courses.
Ability to attain PIT and safe driving certifications within the first 6 months of employment.
Minimum 5 years of site EHS experience preferred.
CSP/CIH Certifications preferred.
Organizational skills and attention to detail.
Must be able to multi-task and set priorities.
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Able to travel up to 50% of the time.
Physical Functions Frequently (34%-66%) required to sit, stand, and walk. Occasionally (0%-33%) required to climb, and lift up to 20 pounds.
