We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Victor to service an existing book of public entity clients. This role will be based in Houston, TX. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
The Houston office, operating as Victor Insurance Managers LLC., has specialized in brokerage support to the public entity industry for over 30 years. Houston's services include reinsurance brokerage, wholesale brokerage and retail brokerage. The ideal candidate would be an experienced insurance professional seeking a long-term stable role within a small established office. Account Executive
We will count on you to:
Corresponds with clients in advance of policy expirations to gather submission data
Prepares and submits new and renewal submissions to insurance carriers
Negotiates quotes with carriers
Prepares and sends written proposals to clients
Handles binding and invoicing to clients for renewals
Reviews policiesand endorsements for accuracy prior to sending to clients
Related duties as required
What you need to have:
Texas P&C licensed
5+ years combined experience in agency, brokerage and/or commercial underwriting.
What makes you stand out?
Experience working with public entities (municipalities, schools, special districts, etc)
Wholesaler background and/or existing relationships with multiple insurance companies
Familiar with multiple lines of property and casualty coverage
Capable of interpreting policy forms and communicating insurance terms to clients
Good oral and written communication skills
Capable of working directly with clients, carriers, and/or other retail agents
Proficient computer skills including Word and Excel
Some travel may be required
