Job Details:
This position is responsible for assisting with start-up and stacking frozen product while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Load set-up table, opening and stacking meat with 40 lbs blocks of frozen meat continuously for 8 hrs.
Understand and set-up meat according to a formulation sheet.
Assist chopper operator. Help set-up line at the start of the shift.
All other duties assigned by Supervisor.
Follow safe work practices including the use of personal protective equipment when required.
Follow all sanitary procedures and policies.
Requirements:
Must complete an on-line job application in Workday
Must be a full-time team member and have completed the 90-day probationary period. If there no qualified candidates, probationary team members will be considered.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
All applicants must provide their government identification number so the system can verify any previous Tyson employment history.
This facility accepts rehires after 365 days and only if the applicant has not worked more than two previous times for Tyson. Tyson reserves the right to require longer waiting periods or not accept rehires based on the reason for dismissal.
