Client Partner - Public Social Impact-Philanthropy
Who You'll Work With
Our Public & Social Impact (PSI) Account Portfolio Team helps organizations redefine what's possible, give shape to the future-and get there. We focus on high-impact projects, meeting our clients where they are to uncover business needs and deliver results. Our teams go beyond the expected to help clients move positively through ambiguity and risk and drive more transformative outcomes. The P&SI team provides business and technology consulting services to government agencies, higher education institutions and non-profit organizations in the greater Seattle area. This role will focus mainly on non-profit organizations. We are currently searching for a talented, seasoned business professional to grow our presence. This Client Partner position will be a key part of our P&SI leadership team in Seattle. The person in this role will be responsible for client satisfaction, client delivery, consultant coaching, and relationship development for each account he or she manages.

•Client Management:
Industry Experience: expertise, passion, and thought leadership about the compelling events driving transformation in the public sector and non-profit industry. Ability to apply industry issues within a client setting and have a thoughtful point of view.
Client Relationships: Has worked closely with the Sales Exec, Capability Leads and Delivery Leaders to cultivate relationships at the EVP/C-level. Has managed escalations and works ahead at the C-level preventing surprises and mitigating risk when issues arise. Has trained and supported others in key operations functions.
Portfolio Management: Has collaborated with the Sales Exec to create an account plan at a high complexity, multi-market account.
Engagement Management: Has identified opportunities to engage SMEs to assist with or augment project delivery. Has helped to drive the thought leadership around improving our transformational customer love scores.
•Account Leadership:
Business Development: Has driven proposals and partners with Pursuit Team to develop and execute on sales strategy. Has led the negotiation and closing of opportunities.
Financial Management: Has an understanding of nuances and differences from running operations at multiple accounts. Has experience knowing common approaches to working with procurement organizations and the inherent differences in procurement across client sizes and industries.
•Seattle Leadership & Collaboration:
Strategy: in close collaboration with local market leaders, align global account and local market strategies.
Practice Collaboration: work collaboratively with Slalom practices to define service offerings that meet industry and client needs, bring those offerings to-market, and deliver capabilities through project work.
Public Relations: promote Slalom in the market by attending / speaking at industry events, panels, etc.
What You'll Bring
•Professional Experience
5+ years professional services account/delivery management experience
7+ years of relevant experience working with the public social impact/philanthropy industry, either in-house and/or consulting industry
•Consulting
Experience managing transformational programs that incorporate people, processes, and technology.
Relevant experience managing to utilization targets
Hands-on contract negotiation experience with NDA's, MSA's, & SOW's
Experience managing the performance of individual consultants, either direct reports and/or as members of project team
Excellent negotiation, conflict management, problem solving and decision-making skills
Superlative writing skills & deep experience with creating highly polished content for client executives
Deep experience with oversight, governance, and quality assurance of all sold/managed engagements
Maintains awareness of industry best practices and business levers for a particular client list and understands how Slalom Practice Areas interact

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range is $133,000 to $206,000 for Principal, $153,000 to $237,000 for Senior Principal and $175,000 to $281,000 for Director. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
