The Senior Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing support to three leaders on the Global Rare Diseases Leadership Team, a part of our Specialty Care business. The team is committed to breaking barriers through groundbreaking science with an aim to improve the health and lives of people with rare diseases.
This role requires a high level of administrative skill, project management, and technical competence as the organization is complex, global and has many internal and external senior partners. Strong oral and written communication skills, flexibility and the ability to manage multiple tasks of equal/varying priorities are essential. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to booking and managing national and international travel, expense reporting, organizing meetings and team events and leading projects. This person is expected to work in the Cambridge office at least two days per week.

Provides outstanding administrative support
Travel arrangements - coordinate domestic and international travel needs
Calendar and email management - proactively manage Outlook calendars, resolving schedule conflicts, and prioritizing meetings; Review email and prioritize appropriately and with discretion.
Expense reports - process expenses accurately and in a timely manner
Event coordination - arrange off-site meetings and events including venue, A/V, catering, etc.
Support with Sanofi systems including Workday tasks, intake processing Global Request Forms, creation & tracking invoices and purchase orders
About You:
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED and 5+ year's administrative experience.
Proficiency in using technology including the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel,
PowerPoint, Word and others).
Experience supporting senior-level business leaders in a pharma or biotech environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred or Secretarial Certificate.
Experience with SharePoint content administration.
Experience supporting senior-level business leaders in a pharma or biotech environment.
Experience with US work visas
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High ethical standards, maintenance of confidentiality.
Flexibility with time, working across multiple time zones.
