RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Workday Financial Analyst in Lehi, UT for a hybrid or remote role with periodic travel.

Summary:

We are seeking a Utah-based Workday Financials Analyst to collaborate closely with the Accounting team to optimize financial systems and processes. Reporting to the Business Automation Development Manager, this role focuses on enhancing Workday Financial functions and driving operational efficiencies. The ideal candidate is a creative problem-solver with a passion for financial systems and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the Workday Financials subject matter expert, consulting with internal stakeholders to address system challenges and implement solutions


• Analyze Workday Financials reports, business processes, integrations, and user interfaces to ensure optimal functionality


• Ensure data integrity across Workday and other systems, identifying and resolving inconsistencies


• Collaborate with functional leads to identify areas for improvement, prioritize projects, and implement changes


• Develop, implement, and refine financial business processes for optimal performance


• Manage change processes for the Workday Financials domain, ensuring alignment with other Workday functional areas


• Partner on high-priority projects, assisting other Workday engineers as needed


• Serve as a Named Support Contact, escalating issues with Workday when necessary


• Test and deploy new Workday releases, ensuring a seamless transition to production


• Conduct security audits and manage permission settings for Workday Financial


• Create and manage user personas for Workday Financials, ensuring stakeholder needs are met


• Drive user satisfaction by enhancing the Workday user experience and delivering effective training


• Collaborate with Accounting to design and deliver engaging training modules for Workday users

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field


• Certifications in Workday and Accounting are preferred


• 3+ years of experience implementing and managing Workday Financials


• Strong understanding of accounting principles, including GAAP


• Proven track record of improving processes through iterative approaches


• Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams


• Experience with Workday Payroll and HCM is a plus

Additional Information:

• Hybrid work model with remote flexibility; Remote employees will occasionally travel for in-office collaboration, with travel expenses covered

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
