Job Summary

The Data Services business unit at NetApp helps customers protect and govern their data wherever it lives. We are responsible for driving preference for our primary storage platforms through a consolidated set of data security, data protection and governance offerings.

This role is focused on working with the business unit GM in helping define organization level strategy and goals with a focus on delivering strategic organization-wide projects end to end.

You will thus focus on driving strategic planning, driving execution towards the key priorities, exec reviews, and ensuring the success of critical cross-org and cross-company initiatives. You will also play a role in driving multiple cross-functional programs, managing relationships with several top executives across functions.

This position provides unparalleled senior executive exposure and is often the avenue to unique business operations and product management roles at NetApp.

Job Responsibilities


  • Take up complex, ambiguous business problems in the data services business unit, and design effective by data collection, analysis and developing deep insight.

  • Communicate recommendations to executives and building consensus.

  • Build strategic and analytical narratives, synthesize recommendations and communicate them through artifacts like high quality presentation and documentation.

  • Work closely with product management, engineering, program management and cross-company teams including sales and marketing and drive end to end implementation of such projects.

  • Manage project risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for strategic initiatives.

Job Requirements


  • 12 years of experience in management consulting, business operations, business strategy in tech industry (storage industry experience is a plus)

  • 12 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.

  • Direct experience of designing and running business and strategic reviews

  • Direct experience of working with designing OKRs, critical user journeys and customer funnel analysis etc in a tech product environment

Highly Desired Qualifications


  • Educational qualification: MBA, STEM Courses

  • Proven structured problem-solving skills and building excellent presentation/decks skills

  • Strong ability to effectively operate in a quickly evolving environment

  • Strong data analysis skills using tools like spreadsheets and functional dashboard skills

  • Strong collaboration, exceptional verbal communication, and stakeholder management

  • "Roll up your sleeves" and growth mindset

Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is 207,000 - 290,950 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU's), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies. Benefits may vary by country and region, and further details will be provided as part of the recruitment process.
