The Director Creative Design is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and executing original creative content across multiple websites, landing pages, and digital assets. This role is responsible for working on end-to-end user journeys.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Day to day oversight for team of graphic designers
Oversee design process from start to finish, including ideation, production, and delivery.
Collaborate closely with the content team to ensure a cohesive vision that maintains brand and company standards and industry best practices.
Develop creative, illustrations, variety of assets to be used across websites, email, social media, presentations and more.
Ensure design quality and integrity meets high standards.
Maintain brand consistency across branded assets.
Manage a creative asset repository.
Stay up-to-date on the latest digital design trends and technology.
Own the structural blueprint of our user experience across digital platforms to ensure designs are scalable and user flow is cohesive.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or Graphic Design or equivalent field of study
8+ years of graphic design experience
6+ years of web design experience
3+ years of user experience design
5+ years of experience managing a team of designers
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Familiarity using Adobe XD and/or Figma, and Canva
Knowledge of typography, color theory, and major web design principles
Strong UX/UI aptitude
Strong attention to detail with ability to ensure design accuracy
Strong creative and creative strategy skills
Strong organizational skills
Understanding of web design, HTML and CSS
Familiarity working in Agile method
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, typically in a cubicle environment (constant noise, fluorescent overhead lighting)
