At AstraZeneca, it's our patients that come first; every decision we make and action we take is centered around how we can better serve them. It's why we are shaping patient care for the future, working along the whole experience to give hope to billions of lives across the world.
The general purpose of the Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) role is to minimize reimbursement barriers for patients and providers and, therefore, support access to AstraZeneca products in the Respiratory Biologics therapeutic area. This purpose will be achieved by delivering high-quality interactions with key physicians, accounts, and institutional customers through specialized services. The FRM must have a strategic mindset and complex problem-solving skills to be successful in their role.
FRMs will work directly with and across several different internal departments and cross-functional partners, including Managed Markets, Access Services, Key Accounts, Trade & Channel, as well as Sales & Marketing, supporting accounts experiencing challenging reimbursement, access, and affordability cases in AZ's Immunology therapeutic area. FRMs are expected to develop and execute ethical and customer-oriented reimbursement strategies. They are expected to demonstrate market expertise in communicating payer criteria/terms and practices, as these relate to assigned AZ products.
At Astra Zeneca, we are taking bold action on climate because we recognize the connection between healthy people and a healthy planet. As part of our flagship Ambition Zero Carbon Program, we have committed to a fully Electric Vehicle (EV) fleet by the end of 2025, which means that all of our drivers will be assigned an EV.
As all other employees, FRMs are fully accountable for compliance with all laws, regulations, and policies that govern the conduct of Astra Zeneca activities.
