Position: Lecturer, Religions of Premodern South Asia
Description: The Department of Religion is accepting applications for a full-time position at the rank of Lecturer in the Religions of South Asia with expertise in premodern Hindu traditions and Sanskrit language. Initial appointment is for the 2025-2026 academic year, and the appointment has the potential for renewal up to two additional years, contingent upon excellent performance and instructional need. The successful applicant will teach a total of four courses over two semesters in the Department of Religion and contributing to the Program in South Asian Studies (one of the four being an advanced Sanskrit reading course) and may be asked to advise undergraduate independent research.
