7 years' experience in communications, journalism and/or public relations required.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Manager of Internal Communications will lead the development and execution of strategic and diverse internal communications across the organization. The Manager will be in charge of producing high-quality content and messaging that is clear, consistent, and aligns with AtlantiCare's mission and values. This role is responsible for leveraging communication tactics that keep team members informed while fostering a culture of transparency, trust, engagement and collaboration.
The Manger will lead the development of content for internal communication across all channels (including the intranet, any internal publications, executive comms) including but not limited to:
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive internal communications strategy that supports the organization's goals. Align communication efforts with organizational priorities and foster a culture of employee engagement and transparency.
Leadership Communication: Partner with senior leaders and stakeholders to craft and deliver key messages, ensuring clear and consistent communication. Provide recommendation on communication strategy and best practices. Manage Linked In profiles and ghostwriting for key executives.
Content Management & Writing: Oversee the creation, editing, and dissemination of internal communications across various platforms, including but not limited to the town halls, intranet, newsletters, emails, and video messages.
Key Organization Initiatives: Develop communication plan, roll-out, socialization and follow through on adoption of key organizational programs (such as rebranding efforts, new system implementations)
Internal Channel Strategy: Optimize the use of internal communication channels, ensuring messages reach audiences effectively. Leverage digital tools and platforms to enhance communication reach and impact. Exploration of new channels and best practices for communicating with a diverse workforce 24/7/365.
Vendor Management: Manage 3 rd party partners ensuring they are delivering on-time, on-budget and aligned to the defined scope of work.
Measurement and Reporting: Establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of internal communication. Provide regular reports and insights on communication performance and optimization tactics.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in communications, business, marketing, or related field required.
EXPERIENCE: 7 years' experience in communications, journalism and/or public relations required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong project management, interpersonal, organizational, communication and presentation skills required. Proficiency with computer applications is required. Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure. Strong s upervisory experience required. Healthcare experience a plus, but not required.
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position requires some walking/standing and may have a prolonged period of sitting. Works with such equipment as computer terminal, fax machine, printer, telephone and copier. Position requires frequent travel, flexibility of hours including weekends, evenings, and on-call coverage as well as lifting up to 20 lbs. Essential functions of this position are listed on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool.

This position reports to department leadership and supervises incumbents as assigned.
