What You Will Do:

As a Project Engineer in Transportation Design, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of mobility, designing roadway, drainage, and utility systems that will serve our public and private clients for years to come.

  • Lead the design and coordination of innovative transportation projects, ensuring top-quality work and exceptional service to our clients.
  • Collaborate with talented engineers, architects, and planners across disciplines to deliver complex, impactful projects.
  • Dive into exciting hands-on tasks such as design calculations, quantity and cost estimates, and preparing detailed project plans and specifications.
  • Prepare high-quality technical reports, feasibility studies, and project specifications that will shape the success of each project.
  • Assist with project proposals, budgeting, scheduling, and planning activities, helping to bring new ideas to life.
  • Guide and mentor the next generation of engineers, overseeing the work of EITs and Technicians as they grow in their careers.
  • As you progress, take on more leadership responsibilities, directing and coordinating project activities, managing client relationships, and ensuring timely, budget-conscious delivery of projects.

What You Will Bring:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or a similar field) from an accredited institution.
  • 4-7 years of experience in Transportation or Municipal engineering or a related field, with a focus on designing solutions that move communities forward.
  • Strong ability to prepare, interpret, and review construction plans, technical documents, and specifications.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and HydroCAD (preferred).
  • A valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • A CO PE license (preferred), or the ability to obtain one within six months.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic that will allow you to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
