What You Will Do:

As a Project Manager at WSB, you will be at the forefront of designing and coordinating high-impact transportation projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career while contributing to the success of our expanding team in North Florida. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading project design and coordination: Drive large and complex transportation projects from conception to completion, overseeing the technical aspects and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Collaborating across disciplines: Work alongside other groups within WSB, delivering top-quality projects and exceptional client service.
  • Client engagement: Present concepts, task summaries, and design updates in client meetings, building strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Design development: Prepare preliminary design layouts, final design plans, and specifications for transportation projects.
  • Proposal and project management: Assist with proposals, project budgets, schedules, and public involvement activities with the State, Counties, and Cities.
  • Team leadership: Oversee and mentor other PEs, EITs, and Technicians, fostering collaboration and growth within the team.

What You Will Bring:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a similar degree from an accredited school.
  • 5+ years of related experience in transportation design, including experience with FDOT projects.
  • A Florida PE license (or the ability to obtain one within six months).
  • Experience with design software, specifically MicroStation.
  • A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • A client-focused mindset, with the ability to build relationships and deliver exceptional service.
  • A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for excellence.
