Job Summary
Manages and maintains calendars for meetings, appointments, and deadlines.
Serves as primary point of contact for customer service inquiries, ensuring timely and professional responses.
Handles email communications, drafting and replying to messages on behalf of the department or leadership.
Works with Indiana University systems (such as IU's financial, HR, and student platforms) for various administrative tasks.
Assists with coordinating and booking travel arrangements, including reservations, transportation, and accommodations.
Prepares and organizes documentation related to meetings, events, or projects.
Supports office operations by maintaining files, records, and supplies as needed.
Collaborates with other team members to ensure smooth day-to-day administrative functions.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
Required
High school diploma or equivalent (such as HSED or GED)
WORK EXPERIENCE
Preferred
2 years of office or administrative experience

Working Conditions / Demands
This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to move objects weighing up to 25 pounds. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
