The SharePoint Developer is responsible for designing and customizing an employee resources SharePoint site within the Human Resources (HR) department. This role will work closely with the VP of Human Resources and support other members of the HR Leadership Team globally. The SharePoint developer's job includes writing and maintaining codes, debugging, and coordinating with all functional areas within HR.
What You Will Do:
Ensure that SharePoint development is feasible, scalable, and reliable.
Troubleshoot and fix bugs and glitches for a seamless web interface.
Coordinate and report to senior SharePoint developers about the progress of a project.
Enhance the user experience to ensure ease of relevance of information.
Design, customize, and execute exceptional SharePoint-developed websites per the user's needs and requirements.
Set tasks and benchmarks and meet these development goals for web application projects as a SharePoint developer.
Solve complex software issues easily while integrating the projects with MS Office.
Improve an organization's overall business process and operational level functioning using SharePoint expertise.
Work towards the goal of curating a smooth and impressive user interface.
What You Will Need:
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field preferred.
Prior experience working as a SharePoint developer.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Solid knowledge of project schedule management.
High level of conceptual and analytical skills with a strong problem-solving orientation with a flexible and dynamic approach.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good planning and organizing skills.
Ability to become familiar with the ABS Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental Management System.
Duration:
This is a three (3) month contract.
Reporting Relationships:
Reports to a Manager, Director, or Executive level position.
