Overview
A HSEQ Manager at Velociti Services shall effectively manage all aspects of Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental requirements and details. Driving the implementation and continuous improvement in all HSEQ policies, procedure, and strategies across various client site locations.
Responsibilities
Duties / Responsibilities:
Monitor the implementation of the Velociti Service’s QHSE management system and propose improvements (where appropriate)
Develop and coordinate execution of Velociti Service’s internal and external audit program
Lead management reviews relating to the Velociti Service’s QHSE management system
Liaise with client and supplier QA / HSE departments regarding audits and contractual requirements
Provide an QHSE support service across departments, support project managers, involvement in tender or pre-qualification processes (as required)
Provide guidance and information to management and employees on HSEQ legislation and HSEQ matters
Carry out Velociti Services and HSEQ inductions for all new starts
Ensure the Velociti Services follows all legal obligations in the management of HSE
Liaise with external QHSE professionals and advisors
Provide the CEO with management information and advice on the development of QHSE policies
Participate and support the Velociti Services as a member of the organization’s management team
Provide management information and feedback to associates to ensure they are kept adequately informed
Identify employee development and training needs
Coordinate and liaise with certification bodies
Coordinate and perform external supplier audits
Report all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality concerns to the CEO
Ensure that safety policies and procedures are implemented, understood, and adhered to at the work location, so far as is reasonably practicable to ensure a safe working environment
Promote a proactive commitment to Velociti Services HSEQ initiatives
Other duties as assigned or requested
Qualifications
Required Skills / Abilities:
Membership of a professional body, ideally related to Safety and Environment
Familiar with established management tools, project, and planning techniques
Previous experience (preferably) within the cleaning services / facility management industry
A minimum of 3 years HSEQ experience at a safety management level
Qualifications in Occupational Safety, Health, and Quality.
Certification in training and assessment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Good analytical/critical thinking
Proven supervisory and technical skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
An eye for detail and good design
The ability to work well both as part of a team and on your own
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required

Physical Requirements
Applicants for this role must be able to:
Lift boxes and packages weighing up to 60 pounds
Lift, bend, squat, and stretch to move boxes, parcels, and shipments
Climb small to medium flights of stairs multiple times a day
Standing for extended periods of time
