Founded in 2002, Masters Drug Company is the nation's premiere secondary pharmaceutical wholesale distributor (and a wholly owned subsidiary of McKesson Corporation). Building upon the strength and footprint of its parent organization - Masters sources and distributes a catalog of over 10,000 items (Generics, Brand, and OTC) to retail and institutional pharmacies across the United States and Puerto Rico.
Current Need
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic Masters finance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring accurate and timely financial and management reporting for the Masters organization. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of finance, exceptional analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports and dashboards for senior management, highlighting key metrics and performance against targets.
Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to drive business performance.
Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic initiatives, business planning, and scenario analysis.
Implement and maintain robust controls to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data.
Collaborate with various teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and alignment with budgets.
Work closely with finance teams, business analysts, and other stakeholders to integrate financial and non-financial data for comprehensive analysis.
Utilize advanced data analytics techniques to extract meaningful insights from large datasets.
Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to enhance financial reporting and decision support.
Ensure month end close process is completed accurately and timely
Process all required journal entries into SAP
Identify opportunities and implement solutions for process and profitability improvements
Assist with process re-design to KPI dashboard enhancements and automation of the current process
Special Projects and analysis as required
Minimum Requirement
Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or professional certification (CFA, CPA) is a plus.
Critical Skills
4+ years of experience in financial analysis, with a focus on FP&A roles.
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, Microsoft Excel and Data Analytics tools.
Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
Excellent communication, presentation skills and business partnership skills.
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
