Description: The Judge Group is seeking a Full Stack Web Developer with expertise in Laravel and React for our client. This role involves managing web application projects, client relationships, project intake, and gathering project/feature specifications.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree preferred.
5-10 years of relevant technical experience.
Technical Skills:
Proven expertise in developing and maintaining database-driven web applications.
Strong knowledge of relational database management systems, particularly MySQL.
Proficiency in web development languages: HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, Node.js.
Advanced experience with Laravel is essential.
Advanced skills in React are required.
Familiarity with frameworks like Next.js, Kohana, and Codeigniter is a plus.
Expert knowledge of Git.
Experience with shell scripting (Bash).
Project Management:
Demonstrated project management, planning, and process modeling skills.
Experience leading web development projects, including new application development, refactoring legacy applications, app modernization, writing user stories, and task delegation.
Additional Skills:
Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.
Curiosity and ability to learn new technologies (frameworks, programming languages, methodologies, etc.).
Some knowledge of DevOps concepts, including CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, Docker, Docker Compose, and Kubernetes.
Ability to understand non-technical users' requirements and generate user-friendly solutions quickly.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with non-technical users throughout all project phases.
Willingness to support and promote a diverse and inclusive community.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a complex environment with competing demands.
Willingness to participate in the team's on-call rotation.
Preferred Skills:
Proficiency with Vue.js.
