Duration: 11 month contract



Description:

• Conduct reviews of billed procedure codes in ER claims to ensure clinical appropriateness.

Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted physician license in the US.


• 3-5 years of experience reviewing claims for clinical appropriateness of billed codes.


• Minimum of 5 years of experience with professional services CPT code level requirements (ER, office visits, levels 1-4, etc.).


• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with clinical electronic medical record systems.


• Minimum of 5 years of experience using Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Desired Skills:

• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
