Position Summary This is not your typical internship! The Digital Americas Internship Program is a unique opportunity to build a career in software development. As part of the Digital Americas team, students will work with our data scientists and software developers to create cutting edge products, blending data science with software development. The internship is a 2-year program. Students will work on challenging technical problems and engage with business leaders during product development. Successful completion of the program may lead to full-time employment with Digital Americas or one of many global business teams. The position will be based at the Linde Technology Center in Tonawanda, NY. Key Accountabilities - Collaborate with data scientists and software developers to create analytics and optimization products supporting data-driven business decisions. - Support, maintain, and enhance existing Digital Americas software platforms. Basic Requirements - Working towards a B.S. in Computer Science or related field - Enrolled in sophomore or junior year of study for Spring 2025 semester. - Availability to work 15 hours per week during spring/fall semesters and 40 hours per week during other periods. - Work commitment through completion of undergraduate degree. - Python programming experience - Availability to travel up to 25% (travel will not occur during school year) - Problem-solving skills and analytical thinking Preferred Qualifications - Exposure to relational database systems and SQL - Experience with modern web frameworks, preferably Vue.js - Knowledge of object-oriented design patterns and architectural principles for data movement About Linde: Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2023 sales of $33 billion.
