Job Summary:



Responsible for the service support of top IMOs, Delaware Life Wholesalers (Regional VPs and Internal Wholesalers), and a select group of high producing Financial Advisors with a large in-force client account base with Delaware Life. The overall objective is to improve customer loyalty, which will result in additional new sales (second sale), and the growth and retention of assets under management. Support will include initiatives to educate our advisors on operational and service procedures, product features, and service guidelines.



Main Accountabilities:



  • Act as a dedicated point of contact for our internal and external partners for operational service requests.

  • Establish strong working relationships with existing and prospective financial advisors and IMO partners.

  • Responds to service referral from the internal sales desks of our wholesale Distribution Organizations, and from the Distribution Relationship Management Team.

  • Interacts with financial advisors to explain benefits and features of products.

  • Provide information regarding contract values, withdrawals, fund performance, outstanding issue requirements, 1035 exchanges, IRA and Qualified Plan transfers and rollovers, agent licensing commissions.

  • Provide or coordinate operational support regarding contract structuring, death benefits/options, taxation, cost basis, investment fund choices and administrative forms.

  • Make recommendations regarding procedure changes and product and system enhancements.

  • Acts as a point of contact for escalated service inquiries.

  • Works closely with Zinnia and Delaware Life Operations areas to solve problems and to make doing business with Delaware Life as easy as possible

  • Assist in special projects as needed.




Qualifications:



  • Strong working knowledge of Annuity Products, (Fixed, Fixed Index, and Variable).

  • Requires strong organizational skills. Candidate must be detail orientated.

  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written.

  • Background in Operations/Financial Services experience preferred.

  • Familiar with CRM Systems, such as Salesforce.com

  • Excellent customer focus; ability to establish and maintain effective customer relationships.

  • Builds constructive relationships with top producing advisors.

  • Demonstrates strong communication skills in a variety of settings.

  • Ability to learn quickly when facing new challenges; extracts lessons learned from mistakes.

  • Demonstrates excellent time management skills and flexibility in a fast-paced team environment.

  • College degree preferred or 3-5 years of equivalent experience required.

  • FINRA Series 6 or 7 or must pass Series 6 within six months of hire date.
