The Manager of Distribution is responsible for spearheading service goals by overseeing warehouse team members and daily operations, and leveraging resources for the effective and efficient completion of daily tasks.
What the Candidate Will Do
Responsible for daily Operations Management utilizing objectives and KPIs
Provide consistent and professional communications with Customers with respect to difficult situations, relaying service failures, etc.
Maintain productive carrier relationship development, cover loads, handling and management of difficult situations, etc.
Achieve internal department goals and ensure appropriate use of internal high-service, fair and cost competitive service
Proactively identify and communicate issues, propose and implement solutions for continuous improvement in regard to processes, cost, service, and profitability
Provide leadership, management, coaching, training and support to a team and execute all other responsibilities
Monitor and hold team accountable for all key job functions
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field
3-5 years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications
3 years of supervision experience with more than 5 employees
3 - 4 years of Warehouse and Distribution operations experience
Warehouse or Distribution software experience with the use of RF scan guns and or tablets
Expense control experience
Advanced Spanish and English communication skills
OSHA and warehouse safety basic knowledge
