We provide treatment for traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, CVAs, and other neuro or complex ortho diagnosis in the most functional setting there is - a person's own home and community.

We are looking for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants who want to provide truly patient-centered care in the Los Angeles, CA and surrounding areas - with PRN positions available. Our interdisciplinary teams create integrated treatment plans that are practiced in patients' homes and communities. Our therapists are creative in their approach and incorporate a variety of activities to ignite interest while addressing functional goals. This evidence-based approach results in durable outcomes.

Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting Occupational Therapists in evaluating client's level of functionality and need for therapy
  • Implementation of therapy programs developed by the Occupational Therapist, to meet assigned client’s rehabilitation goals and objectives
  • Provide treatment techniques which include, but are not limited to, activities of daily living, perceptual-motor activities, guidance and use of adaptive equipment, exercises to enhance functional performance, prevocational evaluation and treatment, and use of assistive technology; collecting and accurately recording data on therapy programs

Qualifications:

  • An Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy and active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant License in applicable state(s); along with a minimum of two (2) years related work experience, preferably in a rehabilitation, or long-term care setting, is required
  • A valid driver's license and responsible driving behaviors must be maintained.
  • Competence in writing, planning, organization and documentation, as well as time management skills are required
  • The ability to communicate with families, professionals and co-workers is a must. The ability to demonstrate positive client interaction skills is essential
