I am currently recruiting for a Machine Operator position for a Manufacturing/Distribution Company. They are looking for a skilled Machine Operator to set up, maintain and operate machinery. r is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards.
This is a full time Direct Hire Opportunity
$21-24 Hourly Depending on Experience
Monday through Friday, overtime on the weekends
2 Shifts available
5am to 5pm and 5pm to 5am
12 Hour shifts
Responsibilities
Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle
Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed, parameters)
Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machinesand fully automated machines.
Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
Test operation of machines periodically
Alert leadership when issues or production problems hurt operations.
Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or quality defects and document it
Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
Responsible for accurate production reporting including volumes produced, quality aspects of product, and all required paperwork .
Skills Desired
Prior Experience with Paper Converting machines a Plus!
Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (tape measure)
Understanding of production procedures and GMP is a plus
