Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist - cash applications
Location: Upland, CA ( 100% on-site)
Pay Rate: $ 25 -$30/hr.
Schedule: M- F, 8 - 5
Type: Temp-to-hire or Direct Hire
Duties:
The ideal candidate for this job will apply customer payments, make required account adjustments, accounts receivable invoicing, reconcile daily A/R activity
* Payment application to customer accounts from checks, cash, and EFT.
* Maintain customer accounts by applying credits, processing small balance write-offs.
* Submit short paid and skipped invoices during application to credit personnel.
* Reconcile A/R daily between activity and trial balance.
* Maintain daily deposit log that reconciles to cash postings.
* Maintain non-trade receipts log.
* Update cash receipt batches.
* Assist with bank reconciliation.
* Reconcile accounts, researching skips & shorts-pays.
* Good attendance and adherence to work schedule.
* Other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
* High school diploma. (or equivalent)
* 2-years of cash application skills. - required
* Accounting knowledge: journal entries, accruals, bank reconciliations, month-end - highly desirable
* MS Dynamics or other Accounting ERP software experience is a plus
