Job Overview:
We are seeking a Freight Claims Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing freight claims, including loss and damage claims, in alignment with industry standards and internal policies. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver with strong analytical skills and attention to detail, capable of managing claims efficiently while collaborating with both internal and external teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and resolve freight claims, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Investigate claims, gather necessary documentation, and maintain accurate records.
Collaborate with carriers, customers, and internal teams to validate claims and ensure efficient resolution.
Maintain and update a comprehensive claims database, tracking statuses and outcomes.
Identify trends in claims data and recommend improvements to reduce future claims.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in freight claims processing, logistics, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and claims management systems.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
