Position Summary:



The Sr. Training Development Specialist - Internal will play a pivotal role in fostering collaboration between key functional groups (marketing, product management, sales ops, technical training teams), commercial teams and trusted Channel Partners. As a member of the Global Training Development team in the Transplant Diagnostics (TDX) division at Thermo Fisher Scientific, and reporting directly to the Sr Manager, Global Training Development, this role is responsible for maintaining and optimizing our Learning Management System (LMS), Docebo, making your proficiency with LMS platforms highly desirable. Experience in using digital tools and analyzing metrics will be invaluable in driving impactful training initiatives. Strong project management skills and impeccable organizational abilities are key for success in this role. This role will help position Thermo Fisher Scientific as a premier learning partner to our HLA & transplant customers, contributing to the advancement of knowledge and innovation in the field.


This position is preferably remote anywhere in the US.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop and implement training programs tailored to the product and process training needs of TDX's Commercial team and Channel Partners.

  • Act as a liaison between major functional groups (marketing, product management, sales operations, technical training teams), commercial teams and channel partners to ensure alignment of training objectives with business goals.

  • Run and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS), specifically Docebo, to deliver detailed and engaging training experiences.

  • Use digital tools and platforms to create interactive and multimedia-rich training materials.

  • Analyze platform metrics and training data to assess the effectiveness of training programs and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

  • Lead cross-functional projects to enhance training content, delivery methods, and user experience.

  • Provide support and guidance to internal partners on training-related inquiries and initiatives.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and standard processes in training and education to continuously innovate and enhance our offerings.

  • Approximately 15% travel


Requirements/Qualifications:



  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited higher learning institution and at least 5 years of proven experience in a related role. OR High School Diploma or GED with 10+ years of direct experience in related field.

  • Strong customer service, communication, skills. Ability to influence without the authority.

  • Very organized individual with strong emphasis on project management and schedule coordination

  • Works effectively despite minimal supervision and tight deadlines

  • Multi-task responsibilities/activities, problem solve to build successful meetings

  • Familiar with creating, tracking, adhering to, and reporting on critical metrics

  • Effectively communicate and collaborate, both orally and in writing to management, customers, third party personnel.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products for word processing, and the creation of presentations and spreadsheets

  • Experience with an LMS or similar platform

  • Proven history of working in a team setting in a collaborative and effective manner. Cross-functional matrix experience desired.

  • Adapt to changes in technology; work independently

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Washington is $103,100.00-$137,500.00.
