As the Construction Industries Customer Value Agreement (CVA) New Services Development (NSD) Manager will provide successful and timely delivery of Integrated Services projects. These projects must address clear customer requirements and deliver value, resulting in incremental CVA, CM insights, and parts revenue. This global role involves identifying and meeting unmet customer needs.
As the NSD champion and coach, you'll collaborate with various partners across the enterprise, including marketing, service and parts operations, business resources, machine and component product groups, digital, and legal teams. Together, you'll develop, integrate, pilot, prove, and document new services to support Customer Value Agreements (CVAs).
What you will do:
Lead an international team of four in developing new and deliverable value-added services within CVAs.
Improve tools and processes for CVA purchase, renewal, tracking, and execution.
Champion the NSD methodology for new integrated or value-added services.
Coach project leaders in NSD execution and project controls.
Coordinate with various groups to manage project resources.
Drive project progress, address challenges, and recommend solutions.; Oversee project progress, costs, and resolve issues.
Motivate and develop project team members.
Manage change and lead timely decision-making.
Create and execute marketing collateral for CVAs.
What you will have:
Knowledge of major products and capabilities of service groups and the ability to apply knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
Communication skills demonstrated through the application of appropriate tools, techniques, and strategies to effectively engage with and influence diverse audiences across multiple business units and organizational levels, ensuring important messages are clearly understood.
Problem solving skills including applied knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems and the ability to apply appropriately to diverse situations
Skills in Customer Service Management that includes a customer-back approach to solving market challenges and the ability to ensure the team maintains focus on value-added services.

Success in delivering enterprise initiatives and achieving significant outcomes
Experience delivering projects on time and on budget
Demonstrated success in recruiting, coaching, and developing team members
Product support or aftermarket experience
Condition monitoring experience
Field experience working with dealer or distributor networks leading to an understanding of dealer service processes.
Six Sigma Black Belt certification / experience
Change Management certification / experience
Project Management certification
Experience with the Machine New Product Introduction (NPI) or Integrated Services New Services Development (NSD) methodology and tools.

Summary Pay Range: $153,000.00 - $229,440.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
