RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Alexandria, VA that is seeking a Staff Accountant.

Responsibilities:

• Full-Cycle GL Accounting: The Staff Accountant will manage all aspects of the general ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes


• Customer Billing: Handle invoicing, receiving payments, and maintaining accurate billing records. Ensure timely and accurate billing for our two real estate properties


• Banking/Treasury: Oversee banking activities, including cash management, bank reconciliations, and treasury functions


• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations


• Audit Support: The Staff Accountant will assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3-5 years as a Staff Accountant with a focus on full-cycle GL accounting


• Experience in invoicing and receiving payments


• Ability to manage billing for two real estate properties


• Proven experience in banking and treasury functions

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
