Job Description:

The Industrial Automation Business Unit (BU) Training team is strategically focused on delivering best-in-class, customer-facing learning opportunities through both in-person instructor-led sessions and live virtual training. This position is responsible for the resource management, strategy, and business oversight of the Industrial Automation BU Training team. The role involves direct collaboration with other Schneider Electric (SE) business units to create optimal educational experiences for our distributor partners completing their Alliance IAD training requirements and enhancing their ability to effectively sell SE products, service, software and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee daily operations of the Industrial Automation BU Training team.

  • Accountable for executing all training functions, including in-person training, virtual-led training, webinars, content development, and administrative tasks.

  • Develop and enforce quality standards for training delivery and services within the team.

  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, including annual training requirements.

  • Mentor and develop direct reports both technically and behaviorally.

  • Manage resources for class staffing, coordination, and other operational needs.

  • Actively participate in developing standards and processes for improved operational efficiency, ensuring current standards are effectively implemented.

  • Perform Performance Appraisals and other HR-related tasks for direct reports.

  • Identify, plan, and execute team staffing needs, including team size, required competencies, staff locations, training needs, and potential expansion.

  • Drive high standards for customer satisfaction, both internally and externally.


  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or equivalent.

  • 5+ years of professional experience in training, industrial automation, or a related field.

  • Location: Raleigh, NC with approximately 25% travel.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential.

  • Experience supervising direct reports or leading teams is strongly preferred
