Description:
Proactively explore customer needs and recommend solutions to expand and retain retail and business relationships. Educates customers on the latest technological advancements that the bank has to offer.Performs both Teller and Customer Service Representative functions as needed.Provides superior service in conformance with established Bank policies and procedures. Contributes to the fulfillment of branch and company goals and objectives.
Performs any functions necessary, within scope of authority and expertise, to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to customers:
Maintains updated knowledge and promotes the bank's products and services. Develop relationships with current and prospective customers. Identifies and actively follows up on sales opportunities and makes recommendations to meet customer needs.
Focus on customer education and engagement in all digital services such as mobile/online banking, electronic check deposit, People Pay, Cardless Cash, Apple Pay, etc. Lead initiatives to increase usage of technological/digital products and services.
Create an exceptional customer experience by demonstrating Bank's Sales and Service Standards. Display energy and enthusiasm to create a positive and collaborative work environment.
Open all types of business and personal accounts and assist customers with any support and maintenance on existing accounts. Interview prospective borrowers and accept loan applications.
Perform a variety of Teller transactions including processing deposits, withdrawals, and payments; cashing checks and issuing or processing negotiable items.
May supervise the Teller line and take responsibility for Head Teller operations, i.e. audits, branch cash orders and distributions, and daily balancing of the branch and ATMs.
Perform all duties in accordance with prescribed regulatory compliance guidelines and bank policies and procedures. Maintain operational quality and standards in all transactions.
Represent the Bank in the communities it serves by participating in civic/community organizations to assist in brand awareness and supporting the Bank's mission of being a dedicated and responsible corporate citizen.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent.
3+ years of teller, customer service, sales, or related experience.
Candidates should demonstrate confidence, self-motivation, and the desire and drive to succeed in the position.
Excellent customer service delivery, communication, problem solving and organizational skills. Must be comfortable demonstrating basic math skills.
Strong computing skills including MS Office applications.
Knowledge of banking products including various deposit accounts and loan products as well as banking core processing systems (FIS) is preferred.
Understanding of basic social media concepts and willingness to incorporate into retail banking culture
Required to work extended and weekend hours.
