Overview

As a Regional Sales /Business Development professional at Velociti Services, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, building strong customer relationships, and contributing to the strategic direction of our sales efforts. You will develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate new regional accounts and expand existing relationships within assigned territories, meet revenue targets, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, marketing, and finance to develop customized proposals and ensure seamless service delivery. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proven sales track record, and a talent for strategic planning, negotiation, and relationship management.



Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Design and implement innovative sales strategies to achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly revenue targets.
  • Assess market trends, costs, competition, and demand to set competitive selling prices.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities and provide accurate forecasts and reports on sales activities and performance.
  • Meet regularly with the sales manager to evaluate performance.
  • Estimate sales volumes and profits for current and new product offerings.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and act on growth opportunities.
  • Actively contribute to business development initiatives and special projects.
  • Handle additional duties as assigned to support organizational goals.


Qualifications

Required Skills / Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets of $10M+ annually.
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing techniques and best practices.
  • Capacity to manage various projects and work to tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and sales automations tools.
  • A solid grasp of sales metrics, performance measures, and technical indicators.
  • A thorough aptitude for analysis and strategy.
  • Decisive thinking and leadership abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and client-relations skills.
  • Negotiation, conflict resolution, and presentation skills.
  • Dynamic and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • A strong client-focused mindset.
  • Excellent communication, project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Domestic travel as necessary and required.
  • Ability to manage multiple locations.
  • PC literate with working knowledge of MS Office with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required – understanding of how to use technology as a tool.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels within a client’s management structure.
  • Good team player.

Physical Requirements

Applicants for this role must be able to:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to walk, speak, stand, and sit.
  • Able to bend, crouch and reach overhead in support of constructing Velociti’s trade show booths.
  • Correctable hearing and sight to normal limits.

Occasional lifting of marketing materials and trade show booth containers.
