As a Receiving Supervisor with Tradebe, you will be supervising your shift and handling daily inventory, sampling, and labeling of drums in receiving. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and have prior industrial, operations, or manufacturing experience.
Key Job Responsibilities
Make sure the workplace follows Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) rules, regulations, and company policies while encouraging safe and environmentally friendly practices.
Act as a hands-on supervisor, managing the activities and performance of the Receiving shift team.
Perform daily inspections to ensure compliance with the RCRA Part B Permit and assign daily tasks to team members.
Oversee the inventory, sampling, labeling, and movement of drums in the warehouse.
Ensure sorted containers are correctly moved to their designated facility areas.
Make sure materials are sampled, processed, transferred, or stored according to operational and regulatory standards.
Ensure all equipment in the area is properly maintained and repaired.Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
HS Diploma or equivalent is required
Ability to operate a forklift
Experience performing inventory and quality control activities
Previous industry experience and knowledge of DOT regulations is desirable.
Previous supervisory experience preferred
Must be able to read, understand, and apply common operational documents, SOP's, manifests, bills' of lading
Ability to work independently with little to minimal supervision
