Salary: $48.00 USD Hourly - $53.00 USD Hourly
Description: Our client is currently seeking a School Occupational Therapist starting in the upcoming new year!
Job Title: School Occupational Therapist
Location: Boulder, CO 80303
Hours: 40 hours per week (37.5 paid and 2.5 hours of unpaid lunch)
Type: Contract until the end of March with the possibility of extension
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Assess students' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities.
- Develop intervention plans to support students' learning and participation.
- Adapt classroom activities to meet individual needs.
- Provide one-on-one support and group interventions.
- Collaborate with teachers to implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Use assistive technology and therapeutic exercises to support students.
- Monitor and report on students' progress.
- Work with parents to support students' learning at home.
- Help students develop fine motor skills, such as handwriting and scissor skills.
- Address sensory processing issues and self-regulation skills.
- Participate in meetings with the education team to discuss student needs and progress.
- Elementary, Middle, or High School
Qualifications & Requirements:

- Colorado (CO) Occupational Therapist License
- CDE Certification
- School/Pediatric Experience - Preferred
- Colorado Department of Education licenses (or in process with documentation)
