The Haverhill YMCA is hiring a Site Coordinator to lead our before and after-school programs, ensuring the safety, care, and development of elementary-aged children. In this role, you'll oversee engaging daily activities, manage staff, and maintain open communication with families and school district partners. You'll also play a key role in maintaining compliance with childcare licensing requirements, handling administrative tasks, and fostering an inclusive, welcoming environment for all participants. During the summer, Site Coordinators transition to leading day camp programming, providing leadership and creating unforgettable experiences for campers.

What You’ll Do:


  • Supervise on-site activities to ensure the well-being of children.

  • Coach and support staff while fostering a collaborative team environment.

  • Build strong relationships with parents, children, and community partners.

  • Ensure compliance with state childcare regulations and maintain program resources.

  • Oversee program planning and logistics for both the school year and summer camp.

  • Knowledge of summer camp programming and state childcare licensing requirements.

  • Must be at least 20 years old

  • Associates or bachelors degree preferred

  • Must meet EEC qualifications of a Site Coordinator and have a minimum of 1 year of previous experience working with school aged children in a program setting

  • Fulltime positions require split shift availability Monday-Friday 7:00am-11:00am & 2:00pm-6:00pm
