Are you passionate about helping children thrive and ensuring all kids have the support they need to succeed? Join our team as an Inclusion Technician, where you'll play a vital role in helping school-age children reach their full potential through individualized behavior and inclusion support.

As an Inclusion Technician, you will work closely with our School-Age Program to implement behavior and inclusion plans tailored to the unique needs of each child. On a typical day, you’ll directly support youth programming by monitoring behavior, documenting observations, and collaborating with team members to create a positive and inclusive environment. You'll also help implement social-emotional learning strategies, model expectations, teach social/emotional skills, and support the program with necessary modifications and accommodations.

  • Experience working with diverse abilities and implementing behavior plans in educational or recreational settings.

  • A strong understanding of social-emotional learning approaches and the ability to guide best practices with flexibility and creativity.

  • The skills to identify causes of behavior and thoughtfully respond to unexpected situations with sound judgment.

  • A passion for creating an inclusive environment where all children feel supported and empowered to succeed.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation

  • Must provide and maintain all documents and certifications as required by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care

  • Must complete all training/certifications and program orientation under the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care and the YMCA of the North Shore
