Position Overview:
The Store Systems Project Specialist will manage new store and existing store projects as it related to IT. This role will be liaising between internal departments, vendors, and suppliers, scheduling, documenting, and implementing various technologies in stores. To ensure success as a Store Systems Project Specialist, you should possess knowledge with IT terminology, basic hardware experience, good customer service, scheduling, and communication. In addition, attention to detail will be critical.
Primary Responsibilities:
Facilitate new store deliveries of equipment on-time.
Coordinate new store date/schedule changes with all vendors and construction teams.
Ensure all new store sites are 100% ready for installations.
Confirm readiness of vendors for installations/projects to include permits, licenses, and network/phone layouts.
Complete sign-off lists via phone with all vendors for new stores.
Perform new store configurations of equipment and Prep-For-Live procedures to ensure stores can train and soft open on time.
Facilitate all existing store deliveries of equipment to meet project deadlines.
Coordinate existing store project date/schedules with Store or Field management.
Document existing store procedures and/or technical procedures for Help Desk/Store Management to successfully complete projects.
Scheduling delivery/pickup of scissor lifts and other material handling equipment to facilities to meet work dates.
Work with store managers and technicians to install and configure any equipment as needed.
Track all return equipment back to facilities and inventory as needed.
Perform other tasks necessary to support the new and existing store projects.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience working in an IT related field where hardware and software usage and terminology are used regularly.
Proficient in building operational or technical documentation for use by non-technical or technical staff/vendors.
Experience scheduling with multiple vendors and keeping up with date changes in a fast-paced environment.
Microsoft Office Skills: Advanced Excel, Word, and Power Point
Physical Requirements:
Ability to remain in a normal seated position regularly.
Ability to see, hear, and speak regularly.
Minimal travel to stores may be required.
Duties frequently involve being seated for extended periods of time and using computers.
