PDS Optical is looking for a self-motivated and dependable individual to complete our Ecommerce team at our Louisville, KY Optical Lab!

The Ecommerce Customer Service Clerk position serves customers by providing superior product and service information, resolving issues and creating a world class customer service experience.

You must have good computer skills and working knowledge of standard computer equipment. You must have the ability to multitask, problem-solve and work fast but accurately. Experience with Tidio, FreshDesk, Shopify, WooCommerce or Athena Liaison is helpful. Optical experience is preferred but not required.

This is a full-time onsite position, Monday through Friday, the exact schedule will be discussed during the interview. We offer top pay based on experience.

Essential Functions

• Must maintain knowledge of Optical Frames, Lenses, and Coatings available.
• Must maintain knowledge of Optical Prescriptions and fitting of eyewear to ensure accurate processing.
• Provide customer service to customer account reps or customers, answer phones, follow up with orders, files, track patient's orders and status, etc.
• Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
• Help customers navigate through E-Commerce Platforms, as needed.
• Provide knowledgeable answers to questions about products, pricing and availability.

Work Environment

This position operates mostly in an office setting located adjacent to an optical laboratory. The temperature can vary and the noise level such as phone ringing may be slightly distracting with many interruptions. This position also requires working in a close proximity to a diverse group of other co-workers.
