Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a Sanitation Worker.
Position type: Full-time (Contract to Hire) Duration: 3 Months Location: Syracuse, NY
As a Sanitation Worker, you will be:
Sweep and mops floors, cleans windows; cleans restrooms and fixtures; cleans and maintains lunch and break rooms.
Strips and waxes tiled floors as required, vacuums, buffs and waxes floors.
Replace light bulbs as needed.
Clean offices, including dusting desks and other areas.
Disposes of trash and operate trash compactor; disposes of cardboard and operate cardboard bailer.
Assists in moving furniture as required or requested.
Perform external facility work as required or requested, to include lawn work and snow removal.
Ensures sidewalks are kept clear and snow melts is placed along the walkways to keep it safe for anyone who enters or leaves the building.
Performs pest control activities as required or requested.
Awareness/knowledge of cGMP standards and their impact on the plant as well as individual departments.
Work with team to solve issues.
Maintain maintenance/cleaning documentation.
Assists with special projects as required or requested.
Promotes a safe and harmonious work environment.
Maintains compliance with SOPs, GMPs, and all company policies.
Other duties as assigned or required.
The ideal candidate will have:
High school diploma or equivalent and previous work experience in a hospital or manufacturing environment or doing sanitation/custodial work.
Experience working in a production environment, ideally in a light-industrial setting.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
