Beacon Hill has partnered with a local non-profit client in the search for a GL Accountant. This position will play a pivotal role in supporting year-end closing functions. Ideal candidates will have strong experience processing general ledger reconciliations, working with income expense statements, and recording grant expenses / revenues. Those with a strong background working in a non-profit environment, or with experience using Microsoft Dynamics NAV, are encouraged to apply. Essential Job Duties
Assist with year end closing activities
Process various reconciliations related to the general ledger, balance sheet, bank accounts, etc.
Process income expense statements
Record entries concerning both grant expenses and revenue
Prepare financial reports for grants and assist in the preparation of grant proposals and renewals.
Process and record invoices, expenses, and reimbursements.
Ensure proper documentation and coding for all transactions
